On Thursday March 21st 2013, we opened our doors in the brand new Trinity Leeds shopping centre! The day was packed full of treats and offers for everyone that popped in to say hello. The champagne was flowing and we stocked up on cupcakes for munching!

The ribbon cutting, we ♥ studs and spikes, queuing out the door, the wall of shoes, denim daze, nail rock goodies.

The friendly staff were on hand throughout the day and passing out scratch cards to each and every customer. This lucky customer was winner of the £100 prize that was shuffled in to the mix.

This past Sunday saw people around the world ring in Chinese New Year. This is the biggest holiday throughout Asia and celebrations will continue there all week. 2013 is the Year of the Snake, which symbolises steady progress and attention to detail. According to the Chinese calendar, this is a year dedicated to focus and discipline. Yikes, heavy stuff! There was us thinking life could be one long party.

But let us embrace the Year of the Snake for what it is – an opportunity to press restart on all the New Year’s resolutions we’ve already given up on. There’s a second chance right here in front of us ladies! And while snakes usually give us the heeby jeebies, we’re quite liking this new ‘focused and disciplined’ meaning behind the scaly reptiles.
