Its what we have all been waiting for the summer of festivals has begun. We kicked off the season in the heart of east end London at the one day festival, Field Day. Luckily for us the sky was blue and the sun was beaming down. Swarms of uber trendy hipsters descended upon Victoria Park to see the likes of Django Django, Everything Everything, and Four Tet.

What’s not to love about Frankie Sandford’s style? Simple, well put together and not fussy – it’s a look anyone can achieve (provided you can walk in some killer heels). The Saturdays singer has struck gold with her now iconic haircut, but she has a few other key things that make her look work.

Oversized bags

We don’t know what Frankie is carrying around with her, but by the looks of things, it’s a lot of stuff. You can tell she has a soft spot for a nice bag and she always makes it a focal point of her outfits.

Legs

If you’ve got ‘em, flaunt ‘em. Frankie has lovely long legs and often shows them off in shorts and dresses. Wearing looser, flowing tops balances the look out too.

Heels

To accentuate those long legs, Frankie is rarely seen out of heels. She seems to prefer a platform sole, giving her a little extra height. An obsession with high heels is definitely something we can get behind.

So there you have it – combine those three things and you’ll be dressing like Frankie in no time!

So, your holiday check list goes something like this, doesn’t it? Book holiday, buy bikini, the end. Yup, we relate. Aztec print is everywhere at the moment. We love a bold pattern and yet, we understand the fear of going too bold, boldly into environments where boldness is not always encouraged – such as, the workplace for example. Depending on your work environment, of course, your flair for wacky colours and crazily designed fabric may not always be appreciated. However, you don’t need to stifle your sense of style for your 9-5. You may just need to tone it down slightly.
